FuelApp is the payment application that runs on the VPOS terminal at the dispenser. Its version number is separate from the Marshall Pro protocol version, so a FuelApp release does not change the protocol your POS or forecourt controller (FCC) speaks. Support for the ANDI integration protocol

FuelApp now supports ANDI, an additional payment-terminal integration protocol, on certain dispenser hardware setups.

Custom card-detect screen and tap-to-continue button

Sites can now show a branded card-detect screen with a tap-to-continue button. This is a per-site configuration, so the same integration can show a different card-detect screen at different sites.

Remove Card prompt after chip transactions

The terminal now shows a Remove Card prompt after a chip transaction instead of only sounding a beep.

Digital e-receipt by QR code

After a payment, the terminal can show a QR code the customer scans to get a digital receipt. Merchants enable this per site, so the screen does not appear unless the site has it turned on.

Language menu limited to enabled languages

The language menu now lists only the languages enabled for the site, instead of the full list.

Clearer status icons

The terminal shows clearer on-screen icons for the card-blocked and transaction-canceled messages.

Card reader ignoring a stop request

The card reader sometimes did not respond to a stop or cancel request.

App stuck on Initializing after a terminal update

FuelApp could stay on the Initializing screen after a payment terminal software update.

Dark screen before the idle screen

A dark screen could appear for several seconds before the idle screen after a card was tapped or inserted. This fix also improves overall app stability, including a rare crash and restart after extended use on some older hardware.

Frozen screen on a card retry

The screen could freeze when a card had to be presented again during payment. This included a case where Transaction Canceled appeared after the customer had already canceled on purpose.

PIN pad registering the wrong key

PIN pad buttons sometimes registered a different key than the one pressed.

Masked entry showing typed digits

Masked numeric entry did not hide typed digits on some input screens.

PIN keypad layout in Hebrew

The PIN entry keypad displayed incorrectly on terminals set to Hebrew.

Wrong screen after canceling a payment

Canceling a payment could briefly show the wrong screen before the terminal settled on the correct one.

Old message reappearing

A previous message could flash back onto the screen for a split second.

Yellow flash between screens

A brief yellow flash appeared during screen transitions.
